Maar hoe zit dat nu eigenlijk, want ze hebben altijd hoog en laag beweerd dat als er ook maar 1tje zou stoppen, de hele band ermee zou kappen..
Bedoel, ik hoop ze zeke rop Werchter te gaan bekijken, maar vind het dan toch wel beetje hypocriet, blijkt dat geld het toch heeft gewonnen dan van de groepsspirit als band zijnde... |

@TKK; Luke Pritchard heeft een tijdje geleden naar buiten gebracht dat kwam omdat Max een drugs verslaving had. Hier is een artikel waarin hij het zegt:

This is the first time the frontman has lifted the lid on Max quitting in January.
The singer said: “He was struggling with various issues – his anxieties and taking drugs probably a lot more than he should have been doing or wanted to be doing.”
And he revealed Max failed to turn up several times during the recording of their new album, Konk – the long-awaited follow-up to their hit debut Inside In/Inside Out.
He told Orange World: “Max was in and out for a long time and we kind of made the decision that we wanted to carry on without him.
“Things got a bit much for him, I think. Not to get some f****** violin out . . . but it can be really difficult being in a band, especially when you’re like that.”
I was beginning to enjoy Luke’s honesty until he said that. Don’t give me that “it’s difficult being in a band” crap.
Millions of people would love to swap places with them.
Anyway, Luke continued: “Max is the greatest guy in the world. But he just didn’t really know how to stop.”

Verder vind ik Konk echt een heel goed album en ook RAK (b-sides) vind ik erg fijn en ik luister er echt heel veel naar. Wat vinden jullie van Konk? (: |

Ik vind Konk echt een waanzinnig goed album. Ik had niet verwacht dat ze Inside in/Inside Out zouden kunnen overtreffen, maar dat hebben ze toch gedaan. De nummers zijn minder 'braaf', kunnen stuk voor stuk op single uitgebracht worden en de teksten zijn over het algemeen ook beter geworden. Jammer genoeg heb ik niet de special edition met RAK gekocht. |
